Chandana Art Foundation International [CAFI] is an independent Public Charitable Trust based in Bangalore, CAFI is devoted for promoting, preserving and revitalising the artistic and cultural heritage of India. Art is the living, breathing, and joyous representation of traditional, modern or classical culture, CAFI is working towards unearthing creative solutions to complex challenges, cultivating an environment for creative, artistic, musical expression and cultural resources of India.

AIMS :

Reaching out to the marginalised, socially deprived sections of the society, economically dis-advantaged but talented persons,        particularly women, children, youth, family, community and  people with disability in creative and economic  development for self-sustenance by engaging them with creative processes in the arts

 

 

OUR MISSION

 

To foster an intellectual and cultural environment among the marginalised and economically poor; particularly women, children and people with disabilities for self sustenance through access to education.

 

Art & Cultural Education is a never ending process. It is a journey from innocence to experience with varied interest, attitudes, aptitudes, inclinations. CAFI brings life to creative expression of children and community on a common platform of art, which express their vision.

We reach out to children from special homes along with normal children with a goal of introducing them to the world of art. We have been organizing 'Inclusive Art Exposure programmes' with the help of Parents and Art Teachers.

LOGO of Chandana Art Foundation International is (हंस) Haṃsā or ‘The Swan’ which is Goddess of knowledge, learning and art Saraswati’s mount. The logo symbolizes an innovative, inventive, creative tool used to complement the creative endeavor.  Swan symbolises knowledge and self-realization. 

The swan feeds on the honey that comes from the blooming knowledge of a person, is calm and gentle, symbolizes unity of the body and the mind, not just bring wholeness but also happiness.    Swan’s qualities symbolises the individual self and protection on many levels,  artistic ability, beauty, calmness, creativity, devotion, discernment, elegance, energy, fidelity, grace, love, partnership, passion, peace, protection, purity, sattva, transformation combining the elements of air and water, they also embody eternal life.
